Born Bebington Wirral UK 1963
Moved to North Wales in 1966. Started painting in oils aged 13. Studied Art and Art History,but made a concious decision not to embark on a Degree course as a result of witnessing the direction of British Art then and now.
Self taught and inspired by nature and the natural world, in particular the sky, mountains and the sea. After many years of mixed fortune as an artist he started his own climbing centre in Chester in 1993, and became a professional mountaineering instructor having started climbing aged 14, he is also a passionate glider pilot. He started flying aged 16.
He is married with 2 daughters.
His work in is private collections world wide, and owners include Sir Richard Branson and HRH Prince Charles the Prince of Wales.
