Panorama and Dinas Bran walk 26.3.2017

Myself and two other friends had decided to go out for a picnic, as I was the  driver I knew the perfect spot where there were lovely views. It was a hot sunny day so after lunch we decided to all walk up to the top of Dinas Bran as my friends hadn't been up there before. I couldn't wait to show them more great views from the top.

Llangollen Camera Club Snowdrops walk - 12.2.2017

I had wanted to go and see the snowdrops this year, but didn't know about them at Llantysilio Church until it was mentioned in camera club. The trip to see them was then set for us all to go. We all met on a cold and snow shower afternoon, after a short walk across the field to the Church we were not disappointed. Such a marvelous view was awaiting us, nature at its best. The Church yard was absolutely covered in snowdrops like a blanket.Despite the snow showers we all managed to get lots of photos,we sheltered in the church until it had stopped enough for us to make the walk back across the field to the car park. To warm us all up we then went for a drink before heading home. A great afternoon was had by all who attended.

It was a beautiful sight to see so many snowdrops

There was also a snowdrop service being held later on in the day

Gresford Church Christmas Tree Festival 3.12.2016

Gresford Church also had their Christmas Fate on 3rd December. Once we had finished our turkey and cranberry sandwiches and bought some of the lovely home made cakes, Claire and my cousin Julie came with me to see the 38 Christmas trees that were on display in the church. This was an amazing sight and as we hadn't seen so many trees decorated all in the one place before. I found it quite breath taking each business, pub school and group had put their own mark on them which to me made it extra special to see.
As I went around I begun to have many favorites, I also liked how the British Legion had incorporated the poppys to one side of there tree.
