Llangollen camera club at the fringe 2015 and other exhibitions


Exhibition in Oswestry 

 Dead men Walking 


Back in December 2014 I was lucky enough to be asked to Exhibit one of my images. Which was at the Visitor and Exhibition Centre to commemorate 100 years since World War 1. 



Christ Church Rossett

Co-ordinated by the Oswestry Coalition for Peace, Dead Men Talking features art and writings that focus on the effect war has on populations both physically and spiritually, and in particular the horror and futility of the 1914-18 Great War.

St David's day in Wrexham March 1st 2015




Saint David or in Welsh he is better known as Dewi Sant 

        This day is always celebrated on March the 1st every year, a leak or daffodil is traditionally worn as a mark of respect for the Welsh patron Saint.




This smart young boy was spotted dressed in his flat cap and bow tie 



 This beautiful little girl is all dressed up as a Welsh Lady which is the National Welsh costume.

It was nice to see so many children with there flags 



Many children were trying to get Photographed with Dewi Sant in the background



Many braved the cold to celebrate



The parade started outside the Guildhall and finished in Queen's Square, where the National Welsh anthem was sung to mark the event.



A Dragon was spotted



Even family pets dressed up 



Cambria Marching Band, Dragon song and Wrexham's Community Youth Choir were among the entertainment.

This is the flag of Owain Glyndwr who was a Welsh ruler and the last native Welsh man to hold the title Prince of Wales 1349 - 1416


Saith Seren held a Crafts Fayer, Mr Urdd the Welsh mascot also made an appearance. Seen hear in the background featuring the White, red and green.


The nipping wind got a little too much for some including myself.








All of the Mold based Cambria Marching Band wore a St Davids Welsh Tarton.The Kilt has been in existence for 150 years maybe longer.
