Minimal Media
We were introduced to three ex-students from last year that had just set up their own photography and media company. Graham Cooper told us a little bit about himself and that he has been interested in making films since he was 10. When he was 15 he left school and went to Yale College in Wrexham North Wales, where he did a mixed course on photography, graphics and films. Graham later came and studied at Glyndwr University and is where he met the other two members of the team Holly and Alan.
They all took their turn to talk to us and next up was Holly who explained that she originally came from a fine art background. She studied in Chester University and then re-evaluated her situation, as time went on she then decided to come and study at Glyndwr.
Alan then came and told us about himself, that he is a photographer .Previous to this he worked in a factory for approximately 10 years. He went on to do a GCSE in photography and worked his way up to a degree last year. Since working with Graham and Holly he has also learnt a lot about film. His advice to us all was to stay passionate.
Some of their early work involved filming a farm show and this actually led to them getting more work so Graham's advice at this point was to take the opportunity of whatever comes your way in University and take the opportunities, such as work experience, in working for free. This will give you more experience and maybe some contacts the future.
Alan spoke about some work that he had done and showed us slides .
Wellie Wanging competition in Erddig - here they captured people throughout the day.
Lambing at Erddig.
They continued to take turns and talk about different aspects of the work and projects that they had done. Many were accompanied by slides and videos.

Interest - 8/10
It was interesting to see and hear what had happened to these individuals within a years time limit. They had all seemed to have grown more knowledge and experience.
Content - 8/10
Lots of information and valuable advice enjoyed seeing their work and films.
Delivery - 6/10
They all spoke very clear about areas of work at the company. Although I really enjoyed this lecture I found the constant changing of people speaking a bit distracting. Personally, I would have found it better if they would have spoken for chunks at a time.
