We had planned an educational trip out to Liverpool's newest museum, based near to The Albert Dock and The Liver Buildings. On this trip I only took my basic camera with me for convenience, thinking most of my shots would be inside the museum.
I really like this image but personally I feel that the gloomy sky lets it down.

Each separate image is one person's hard work and together they are stunning.
This is the second of three separate bodies of work that went towards Liverpool's Capital of Culture display.
You have to see these pieces of work in reality to appreciate how much time and effort has been put into it.
This is a piece of artwork that I captured in three separate images and then framed as one.
The layout of the staircase reminded me of a similar image of a staircase in the Arc de Triomphe.
The information above was part of a handheld, listen to documentary about how the painting was made. This is quite impressive when see with the naked eye and was one of the highlights of my visit.

This piece of artwork was visually amazing! It is a statue of Mary Bamber who was an ardent supporter of Votes for Women. It is a fantastic example of mosaic which was made by Carrie Reichardt and Nick Reynolds.
This image is only a section of a War Memorial designed by the sculptor Trevor Wheeler.

I liked this statue because it looks so life like and represents the past working life of the dock.
A great modern twist on the old building
The triangle effect, me taking a photo of them taking a photo!
I wanted to use the top of the anchor to frame the iconic building, I felt it made a good effect.
The repetitiveness took my eye but as an overall image it didn't seem to work

I was drawn to this painting of Elijah in the Wilderness because of the elegant angel's wings.

These railings appealed to me as an image as I had never seen them displayed in this double-ended way before.
A face in the environment!
The last few images are taken in Lime St train station, all though I had been to Liverpool so many times before, I hadn't seen inside this station and boy oh boy had I been missing a great photo opportunity. I found many images that I wanted to capture here.
